How to Use Your Lytchett Living Oil Burner
This simple guide will help you fill and use your Lytchett Living Oil Burner effectively.
Filling Your Oil Burner:

Prepare the Burner:
- Unscrew the wind break and wick holder.
- Use a small funnel to fill the container with oil, leaving about 25mm from the top, as the oil will rise when you reinsert the wick.
- Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks.

Reassemble the Burner:
- Replace the wick holder and wind break.
- Ensure the burner is properly sealed.
Using Your Oil Burner:

Prepare the Wick:
- Ensure the wick is positioned beneath the top of the windbreak.
- Wet the wick with oil before lighting.

Ignite the Burner:
- Light the wick carefully.
- To extinguish the flame, place the snuff cap over it.
- Note: The burner will be hot during and after use.
Replacing the Wick:

Cool Down:
- Allow the burner to cool sufficiently before handling.

Remove the Old Wick:
- Unscrew the windbreak and wick holder.
- Remove the old wick.

Insert the New Wick:
- Screw the new wick into the holder.
- Reassemble the wick holder into the burner and replace the windbreak.
Important Note:
The oil burner is designed as a sealed unit and will only leak if overfilled.
Update:
We have recently upgraded the design of our wick holder and windbreak:
- The newer versions are fused.
- Made from stainless steel to reduce damage over time.
